1.1. Orel Vacation Apartments (the “Company” or “Orel Apartments”) respects the privacy of users of its website (the “Website”). This policy explains how the Company collects, uses and protects the personal information provided to it.

1.2. The Hebrew policy uses masculine grammatical forms solely for convenience and addresses people of all genders.

1.3. Use of the Website and the services offered through it constitutes agreement to this policy. You are not legally obliged to provide the information, but without it we cannot provide booking and accommodation services.

1.4. Amendment 13 to the Law: this document has been updated in accordance with Amendment 13 to the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981, which emphasises your right to transparency, protection of sensitive information and a high level of information security.

2. Information we collect

When you use the Website and make bookings, the Company may collect the following information:

2.1. Identifying information: full name, identity card/passport number (required by law for tourist accommodation), email address and telephone number.

2.2. Booking information: arrival and departure dates, number of guests (adults/children) and special accommodation preferences.

2.3. Financial information: credit card details to secure a booking or make a payment. This information is processed by an external payment processor that complies with PCI-DSS and is not stored in full on the Company’s servers.

2.4. Technical information: IP address, browser type, browsing history on the Website and general location data.

3. Purposes for using information

The Company will use the information for the following purposes:

3.1. Making and managing bookings for stays in the apartments.

3.2. Contacting customers about booking updates, customer service and operational matters.

3.3. Sending marketing content, promotions and benefits, subject to explicit consent and the right to unsubscribe at any time.

3.4. Improving the Website’s user experience and statistically analysing visitor traffic.

3.5. Complying with legal requirements, such as reporting to tax authorities or the police where necessary.

8.1. Information will be retained only for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law, such as retaining accounting records for 7 years.
